Established in 2014 and affiliated with Goa University, the V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) has rapidly emerged as a centre of excellence in hospitality education.
It is promoted by VMSalgaocar Corporation Pvt. Ltd., a distinguished business group and proud owners of Goa’s first Marriott property, Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, Fairfield by Marriott, and boutique hotels, offering the Institute invaluable industry backing and real-world insight.
Accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in its very first cycle, VMSIIHE offers globally aligned undergraduate B.Sc. programmes in International Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, together with a postgraduate M.Sc. programme in International Hospitality & Tourism Management.
VMSIIHE fosters a vibrant culture of research and innovation, encouraging collaborative research between students and faculty, with active engagement in academic publications. The Institute also emphasizes holistic development through add-on certification courses, bridge programmes, soft skills training, yoga, and cultural and community outreach.

Vishwa Saraswati Society
The V. M. Salgaocar Group has set up the Vishwa Saraswati Society to promote, establish, and manage VMSIIHE. Mr. Dattaraj V. Salgaocar is the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Society while Mrs. Dipti D. Salgaocar is the Vice-Chairman. The Society is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860.
